In 1986 he graduated in Legal and Social Sciences from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul) [UFRGS] in Porto Alegre.
Postgraduate in Tributary and Constituonal Law at Unisinos (Universidade do Vale dos Sinos). He holds a master’s degree in Law from PUCRS (Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul). He is often invited to deliver lectures and to take part in discussions during Law courses and conferences.
Former Professor at the Higher School of Law maintained by the Bar Association (OAB RS). Author of many technical/legal articles published in several journals. He took up the post of Director of the Institute of Tax Studies in 1998/99 and 2000/2001.
Currently Professor at FMP Law School.
He is currently Director of Revista de Estudos Tributários (Tax Studies Magazine) and Vice President of FEDERASUL (Federation of Commercial and Service Associations of Rio Grande do Sul State). He works in the business area and has vast experience in Tax Law and Corporate Law.
Languages: fluent in English. Good knowledge of Spanish and Italian.
